Dinner-Date: What I Wore

posted in: Fashion | 0

Happy Monday Beautiful People!

Thank you so much for all your support so far in voting for me in the Blog Awards Ireland. Voting is open until next week so keep them coming! You can vote here.

Over the weekend Alex and I went to ‘Campagne’, a gorgeous restaurant in Kilkenny city. It’s been a little while since we’ve had a proper “date night” (how cringe!) so I wanted to wear something nice!

I opted for this pastel blue leather skirt, it’s from a few seasons ago in River Island but I still love it. To add some glamour I paired it with my sequin top from Folkster. I wore this stunning top to a wedding over the summer, which you can read about here. I’m trying to get into the habit of “buying less and buying better”. This top is a prime example; I think it’s a timeless piece that I can wear again and again; it’s just so beautiful.

Here’s what I wore for date-night…

Shop the Look:

Top: Folkster (they always have similar in stock)

Skirt: River Island, old stock, similar here

These tiny heels are the most I can manage at the moment – and even still I can’t go far in them, but it’s my first step in getting back into my stilettos! When ever I get rid of this limp of mine I’m buying myself a pair of Loubs!

What do you like to wear for dinner, are you a jeans and top kind of girl or is it a dress every time?

From now on I’m going to try to include a quote in my posts, hopefully these will be insightful, meaningful, inspirational or even just funny – depending on my mood! Let me know what you think!

"I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it."

With love,

Lorraine x
