Hello Sunshine!
I’m back with the second chapter of my “Wedding Guest Style Series”. (See Chapter One Here.) Last weekend we had a Black Tie wedding and I decided that I wanted to wear a full-length dress. I’m one of those people who loves dressing up and opportunities for wearing a long gown can be slim, so I take them whenever I can!
A couple of weeks ago I spotted a friend of mine from college wearing the most beautiful coral, full-length dress. When I asked her where she got it she told me I was welcome to borrow it…obviously I jumped at the chance! So big shout-out to Vicki for this one! 😉
I’m always crushing on coral during the summer months, it’s such a warm and easy colour to wear when you have bronzed skin, be it from a bottle or otherwise!
Last Sunday came and the sun was out in full force – perfect photo-taking conditions! So I returned to our beautiful antique bench for the photos of my outfit.
The detailing on this dress is stunning, the tulle with lace appliqué is so feminine. I also loved the low v-shaped back. I wanted my hair up so that the dress could do all the talking. As it was a Sunday I did my own hair, which if I do say so myself actually turned out quite well, shock horror!
This dress was from Cari’s Closet, Malahide, who also have an online store, available – Here.
While this particular dress is no longer available online, they have some very similar styles currently in stock so go check them out.
I hope you enjoyed Chapter Two in my “Wedding Guest Style Series”, please do pop back for Chapter Three in the next few weeks! I’ll be sure to let you know on social media when it’s live so make sure you’re following me – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
As always,
With Love,
Lorraine x
