I always find this time of year a bit of a battle between wardrobe and weather! However, the cape and fedora combo is ideal for winter layering – warm and cosy for those miserable moments and easy to peel off once the sun re-appears (a rare but glorious occasion in Ireland, I know!)
I’ve seen a lot of dark coloured and tartan style capes around the highstreet, but I wanted something a little less winter and a little more spring! So when I found this River Island one with the soft blue, grey and cream tones, I fell in love!
The fedora hat is another of my favourites, particularly with hair like mine that frizzes at the thought of rain! These are also all over the highstreet at the moment, however, this one from Pennys/Primark is a steal for under €10! The bag is Michael Kors and was a Christmas present from my other half!
