Punchestown Ladies Day 2016: What I Wore

posted in: Fashion | 0

Hello again!

Heading to the races with friends is one of my favourite things to do. We headed off early on Friday so that we could catch all the style. I can honestly say it was one of the most stylish Punchestown days I’ve seen; one outfit was more beautiful than the next.

I saw this cape in Folkster last weekend and knew that it had to be included in my outfit! I tried everywhere for a hat to match but couldn’t find one in the right colour so I rang Faith Almond on the Tuesday night to say that I needed a hat for Friday, I arrived at her house on Thursday night and she had whipped this gorgeous piece up for me! For those of you  who don’t know Faith, she’s an amazing lady, has won best dressed on many an occasion, and has hats and accessories for rent; it’s like a little treasure trove! She’s based in Milford, Co. Carlow, if any of you have a wedding or a race day coming up and would like her details then please contact me – she’s an absolute lady! I also rented a hat for a wedding last summer which you can see here: Wedding Guest Style Series, Chapter Three.

I had this dress tailor-made in Vietnam last summer, however, I love this white dress from ASOS. The shoes were Penneys/Primark a few moths ago but they have very similar ones in stock at the moment. This gorgeous necklace is also Penneys/Primark, would you believe, an absolute bargain!

If you’d like to see what I wore to Punchestown last year, you can have a read here: Pretty in Pink for Punchestown.

Are you heading to the races or a wedding over the summer? If you are I’d love to see your hats, headpieces and outfits so feel free to tag me on Instagram or Facebook!

With love,

Lorraine x
