A couple of weeks ago I joined a group on Facebook called itwbn – Into The West Blogger Network. This group was set up by Sinéad Carroll and Saibh Egan to enable Irish bloggers to network, support and learn from each other. From the first time I posted on the page, I received a warm welcome. Looking through the comments I found it so lovely to see so many people supporting and encouraging each other, not a sign of negativity to be seen! As a result, I decided to attend their #itwbnBloggerEvent. This was held yesterday, Sunday 10th May which was actually their first birthday.
The event was held in The G Hotel, Galway’s 5* hotel. Designed by the infamous milliner and Galway native, Philip Treacy, his style is evident in every corner of the hotel and was the perfect location for this stylish event.
We were spoiled on the day, between the #itwbn goodie bags with some amazing products, treats from the hotel and inspiring talks by Sinéad Burke, Wayne Denner, Dee from Castle Print and Karen from Karora.
