Hello you wonderful people!
I’m finally back on track; I have to be honest, after travelling for almost a month I found it quite difficult to get back behind my laptop screen but now that I have I’ve remembered how much I enjoy blogging. I hope you’ll forgive me for being away for so long but I honestly had the time of my life! I intend on sharing my travels with you all and that post is a work in progress so keep an eye out over the next few days! For now it’s business as usual and I’m back with a “What I Wore” post, I hope you enjoy.
This weekend I headed into Kilkenny City for a look at the Arts Festival. You couldn’t but be mesmerised by the city at this time of year – it’s literally buzzing!
The weather on Saturday morning was so stunning and a friend of mine, James, who is a very talented photographer kindly took some photos for me.
I’ve featured this skirt before, which you can view Here. Midi-skirts are really having a “moment” and I don’t think they should just be kept for evening wear. I love wearing mine with trainers for a dressed down day-time look.
I’ve teamed mine here with my Nike Roshe trainers and a denim shirt.
I never thought I’d be someone who’d wear runners to town but here I am…and I’m loving it! I’ve got tiny feet so these trainers are actually from the kids section but there are endless designs and colours to choose from on Nike.com. You can even go so far as to customise your own!
Since I first saw photos of the Dior “So Real” sunnies I knew I had to have them but unfortunately for me I just can’t afford them. So, as you can imagine, when I spotted these on a little market in Vietnam I actually yelped with joy! I’ve trawled the internet and I can’t find any similar styles in the highstreet stores just yet, as they are so new, but you’ll be the first to know if I do find them. For you lucky people who can stretch to the real thing – I’m very jealous!
